Cowboy Boots Lino Print (Blue and Red)

A little bit country, a lot of punch 🤠 This bold little pair of boots started life as a hand-carved lino block, then became a reduction linocut print through a slightly obsessive process of carving, inking and printing layer after layer of colour.

The result? A graphic, joyful piece of western-inspired wall art with plenty of personality.

This isn't a digital illustration pretending to be handmade. It's the real deal.

Each print is created using the reduction linocut technique, where the lino block is carved a little further after each layer of colour is printed. Once you've carved away a section of the block, there's no going back...which makes the whole process a bit of a beautiful high-wire act!

It also means that every print has those lovely little signs of being made by an actual human. No two handmade prints are ever quite the same, which is what makes it rather lovely!
